Abstract: Handwritten letter dated April 9, 1837 by John Raymond, builder of the first mile of commercial railroad track in the United
States in 1828. Also an undated printed pamphlet by E.B. Callaway, entitled "America's First Locomotive," which tells the
story of the "Stourbridge Lion" locomotive and the early development of the Delaware and Hudson Canal Company's railroad.
