Historical note
The Pepperdine Business School was officially listed in the school catalog in 1969, replacing the Department of Business Administration
and Economics. A few years after the Malibu campus opened, the school's name changed to the School of Business and Management.
George L. Graziadio, Jr. endowed the Pepperdine business school in 1996, and the school was named in his honor. Multiple degrees
are offered by the business school, and programs are offered on the Malibu campus as well as satellite campuses around the
Los Angeles area.
Scope and Content
The collection contains printed material and photographs produced by and related to the Graziadio School of Business and Management
at Pepperdine University. Items in the collection include recruitment items such as flyers, programs, folders, posters, brochures,
and booklets for its various degrees and programs; management and presidential directories; news clippings and press releases;
conference lecture transcripts; event directories; management simulation manuals; a GSBM history guide written by Ruth Atteberry;
administration plans; alumni publications; schedule of classes; Dean's report; event invitations and programs; photographs;
magnetic tape reels; VHS tapes; microfilmed student research projects; and other printed materials. Materials in the collection
range from 1968-2013.

The collection is arranged in the following four series: Series 1. Printed Material; Series 2. Photographs; Series 3. Audiovisual
Recordings; and Series 4. Microfilm and Microfiche Student Research Projects.
