Description
This collection contains sample forms and cumulated statistics for the Library Journal survey, along with Eric Bryant's article "Pride & Prejudice" (in Library Journal, June 15, 1995, p. 37-39) which summarized the results.
Background
In 1995, Library Journal surveyed U.S. libraries to determine the strengths and weaknesses in their gay and lesbian holdings and in their institutions' commitments to developing the subject area.

All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the City Archivist. Permission for publication is given on behalf of the San Francisco Public Library as the owner of the physical items.
