Scope and Contents
This collection contains photographs and personal correspondence of Jill Mendelsohn. Included are photographs of the 1974
San Diego Women's Music Festival, a 1975 Meg Christian performance, and a brief meeting with Rita Mae Brown. This collection
also contains photographs taken by Mendelsohn and her partner Karen documenting lesbian feminist poet Elsa Gidlow in her garden,
a newspaper article about Gidlow, and personal correspondence to Mendelsohn and Karen from Gidlow.
