Biographical Note

Nate Thornton was a volunteer for the International Brigades assisting the Popular Front during the Spanish Civil War, and an active member of the Bay Area Post of the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. Thornton, a carpenter by trade, was also a member of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and an activist with School of Americas Watch.

Ray McGrath, Esther "Hon" Brown, and Dave Smith in Victoria, British Columbia 4. Father Vitale, Martin Sheen and unidentified man.
