Description
Annie M. Reid (built 1892; bark, 4m) logbooks (SAFR 16443, HDC 158) consists of two ship's logs describing voyages of the
ANNIE M. REID between Australia, France, London and New York. The log of the voyage of 1913 under Master J.A. Durkee includes
mention of a tow from London to Havre. This volume also contains a two page history of the logs, ten pages on ships bells
and newsclippings from an article in the San Francisco Bulletin title The Log of the Annie M. Reid. The second volume is from
a voyage taken in 1916 from Newcastle through the Panama Canal to New York. The collection is available for research use without
restriction.
