Biography
Sandy Dwyer was born Sandra Jean Nelson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was raised on a ranch in the Ozarks of Missouri by her

in 1986 and became involved with the Los Angeles gay and lesbian community. She co-founded a newspaper focused on local gay

exposing financial abuses by large mainstream gay and lesbian non profit organizations.
