George Cruikshank, born in 1792, was a British caricaturist and a book illustrator in the 19th century. He was known for his
etchings that portrayed the royal family and leading politicians. He also illustrated books, including some of Charles Dickens'
works. Cruikshank was a renowned caricaturist and was one of England's most popular satirists. He died in 1878.
This collection contains five etchings by George Cruikshank titled "Mushroom Monstrosities" and "The Dancing Lesson," which
