Delta Kappa Alpha records are stored in the HMH Moving Image Archive. Requests to view the collection must be made through
the USC Libraries Specialized Research Collections Request System, but access to the records will be provided by the HMH Archivist.

Scope and Content
Note: The Delta Kappa Alpha records are physically held by the School of Cinematic Arts.
This series consists of the records of Delta Kappa Alpha, a co-educational professional film fraternity, from its conception
in the 1930s to the late 1970s. Most of the documents are from the National and Alpha chapters, both based in Los Angeles
at the University of Southern California. Also included are documents from other chapters, including Beta chapter (Boston
College), Gamma chapter (New York University), and Delta chapter (University of California, Los Angeles), as well as correspondence
from other schools interested in establishing their own chapters of the fraternity. Most of the records are organizational,
but the series also includes correspondence between the DKA leadership and several prominent Hollywood figures.
