    Scope and Content

Description from inside cover: "Drawings. Manuscripts. Sketches. Heraldry. A collection of nearly 100 sheets, mounted on hinges and bound in a limp vellum folio volume. This 'Heraldic Scrap Book' is a remarkable collection, quite unique, the result of the labor and research of some indefatigable enthusiastic student. The hundreds of spirited drawings, many in colors, of coats of arms, crests, armorial bearings, etc. with the genealogies and manuscripts show careful and conscientious work. Though Spanish, English and Swedish families are referred to, those of Germany are studied more carefully."
