Abstract: Corinna Radigan was a sports writer for several newspapers and magazines, including the
Bay Area Reporter. This collection compiles her and several women's work, brought together by Radigan, including unpublished stories and manuscripts
as well as materials related to The Coming Out project and various correspondence between authors.

The
June L. Mazer Lesbian Archive at UCLA is an outreach and collection-building partnership between the
June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives , the
UCLA Center for the Study of Women (CSW) , and the
UCLA Library . These collections expand the pool of primary source materials available to researchers and to the community at large. This
partnership was initiated by CSW and is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to inventory, organize,
preserve, and digitize more than eighty Mazer collections pertaining to lesbian and feminist activism and writings.
Corinna Radigan was a sports writer working with various newspapers and magazines including the
Bay Area Reporter.
This collection contains various unpublished manuscripts and writings from Kary Wind, Lee Lynch, Shirley Gore, Rochelle Dubois
and Corinna Radigan as well as materials related to The Coming Out project and correspondence between authors such as Lyndall
McCowan (who was also a member of the Daughters of Bilitis) and Barbara Grier.

Includes correspondence between Lyndall MacCowan and Barbara Grier (co-founder of the Naiad Press), concerning young lesbian
organization and a study guide for the audio cassette "On Being Gay" recorded by United Presbyterian Church, 1973. MacCowan
was an active member of the San Francisco chapter of the Daughters of Bilitis.

Coming-out correspondence 1978-1982
Contains a coming out story by Claudia Johnson as well as two coming out letters to parents, one by an anonymous author and
the other by Juana Maria Paz. These letters were part of a call for "coming-out correspondence" by the West Coast Lesbian
Collections (the former name of the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives).
