Background
A.L. Sunderer was an architect and draftsman working in the areas of Newark and modern day Fremont at the turn of the century.
Sunderer worked for a time as a draftsman for Carter Brothers, a pioneer car manufacturer on the Pacific Coast.

Copyright has not been assigned to the California State Railroad Museum. All requests for permission to publish or quote from
