    Abstract: Twenty-nine scrapbooks were created by Alfred Hanisch during his years in WWII and travels afterwards. Albums contain photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, foreign currency etc. Alfred Hanisch was born in Roseville Ca. in 1923 where he lived until moving to Alaska in 1946.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    The Alfred Hanisch collection was left to the Roseville Historical Society in 2011 at Alfred's request upon his death. Collection consist of the following: army trunk, uniforms, scrapbooks, cameras, badges & medals, manuscripts, flags, diaries, military.
