    Abstract: This is a small collection housed in one 1/2 document box and 1 slide binder box. The collection contains 1968-1972 issues of the English language version of the United Farm Workers (UFW) news magazine El Macriado; aproximately 150 slides related to agricultural labor strikes, boycotts, and cultural arts performances. There is a photocopied script for a Farm Workers Slide Show (undated), booklets, broadsides and ephemera concerning the farm workers movement, including a "Chicano Movement" file related to UCSB and Santa Barbara and related issues. A printed interview with Cesar Chavez is found in this collection, and an audio-cassette entitled, UFW Slide Show.

    Scope and Contents note

    The collection is presently housed in 1/2 document box and 1 slide binder box. The collection contains 1968-1972 issues of the English language version of the UFW news magazine El Macriado; aproximately 150 slides related to agricultural labor strikes, boycotts, and cultural arts performances. There is a photocopied script for a Farm Workers Slide Show (undated), booklets, broadsides and ephemera concerning the farm workers movement, including a "Chicano Movement" file related to UCSB and Santa Barbara and related issues. A printed interview with Cesar Chavez is found in this collection, and an audio-cassette entitled, UFW Slide Show. The collection is arranged alphabetically except for the slides which lack written descriptions and are arranged in the order that they arrived.
