Background
The Pepperdine College Bulletin, later renamed the Pepperdine University Bulletin, was a publication produced by Pepperdine from 1937 to 2000. Originally published six times per year, issues consisted mostly of brochures and other advertisements for prospective students to consider attending Pepperdine along with the annual academic catalog. As Pepperdine grew, the types of materials published expanded, as well as the number of issues produced per year, and by 1963 the bulletin became a monthly publication. In the 1980s, the focus of the bulletin shifted, and issues became almost solely academic catalogs for the various schools of the university. This continued until 2000, after which catalogs were published as individual publications no longer under the Pepperdine University Bulletin title.
