includes prints and trailers for the student film
Counterpoint; the documentary short
An All-American Story (circa 1991); and the feature film
Defying Gravity (1997), about "a macho fratboy who falls in love with his openly gay friend and grapples with his changing sense of self."
Background
John Fitzgerald Keitel is a graduate of Stanford University (AB Human Biology and Drama) and the University of Southern California
School of Cinematic Arts (MA Cinema and Television Production). Keitel has worked as a producer, director, writer, cinematographer
and/or editor for numerous productions in film and television, including LGBT-themed films and documentaries such as Defying Gravity, Justly Married, Prodigal Sons, Fred, and content for CurrentTV.
