Scope and content:

Copies of legal papers relating to the contested estate of Maximillian Nandor Lando, who left much of his estate to the "good people of Los Angeles." Bulk dates are circa 1966-1972, with one document from 1911.

Biographical / historical:

Dr. Lando (d. 3/1/1966) was an optometrist in Hollywood. He attended the University of Minnesota, chemistry class of 1902.
