Description
The Louis and Irene Kamp papers span the years 1958-1984 (bulk 1959-1980) and encompass 1.5 linear
feet. The collection consists of produced and unproduced screenplays that the Kamps worked on, either
together or separately, as well as a small amount of correspondence.
Background
Louis Kamp was a commercial artist and painter before he became a screenwriter. Kamp married magazine
editor and drama critic Irene Kittle in 1945. The pair went on to write screenplays both together and
separately during the 1960s and 1970s.
