Description
Large scrapbook created by Janet McCoy White, Class of 1931, documenting her student life at USC.
Background
Janet McCoy was a very prominent member of the USC student body. She was Vice-President of the USC Student Body 1930-31, was affiliated with the Pi Beta Phi Sorority, and was a member of the Junior Auxiliary of the Town and Gown Club. She belonged to one of the old pioneer families of Southern California, her maternal grandparents being Judge and Mrs. Victor E. Shaw. She was the daughter of Dr. James D. McCoy, USC '06, a prominent orthodontist and faculty member of the USC School of Dentistry, and a president of the USC General Alumni Association.
