Description
The John Landis papers span the years 1973-1998 and encompass 9 linear feet of manuscripts, 12.4 linear feet of photographs, 78 pieces of production art, and 46 posters. The collection consists almost entirely of scripts and production material on more than a dozen films directed by Landis. There is one scrapbook with Italian-language clippings on OSCAR (1991). The photographs consist of photographic prints, contact sheets, transparencies, and slides of scenes and off-camera shots from various motion picture productions. The production art consists chiefly of storyboards and concept drawings.
