Scope and Content Note

Hearing Files created by the Assembly Economic Development and New Technologies Committee may include agendas, transcripts, testimony, background, and working files for regular session hearings as well as informational and oversight hearings. Audiotapes and videotapes have been separated to a cold-storage vault for preservation purposes and separation sheets are in the hearing files to alert the researcher to the existence of these tapes. Popular subjects include tourism, technology, runaway film production, and rural economic development. Many of the hearings are not focused on a particular topic but instead cover a number of bills.
