Abstract: The Agricultural Education Wives organization of the University of California, Davis
was formed to to: "intelligently prepare for their future as wives of vocational agricultural teachers and to
better understand the professional problems of their husbands." This small collection contains the
organization's constitution, financial records, meeting records, and membership lists.

According to its constitution, the Agricultural Education Wives organization at the University of California,
Davis was formed to: "intelligently prepare for their future as wives of vocational agricultural teachers and to
better understand the professional problems of their husbands; promote and strengthen the bonds of friendship
among the families of the students majoring in Agricultural Education, and lay the foundation for closer ties
between wives of teachers of Vocational Agriculture."
