Provenance unknown, found in collection unaccessioned. These copy prints and negatives were found with in-house copywork in the 1980s and set aside for review. The photographs do not appear to be related to each other.

The West Coast maritime photographs, circa 1905-1922 and 1983, (SAFR 24648, P15-021) are comprised of photographs of MANNING (built 1898; cutter: U.S. Revenue Service), MARION (vessel type unidentified), WAPAMA (built 1915; steam schooner), and H.F. 249 (cutter?). The collection has been processed to the Collection level and is open for use.

Consists of the following 4 black-and-white photographic prints:

Item 1. MANNING (built 1898; cutter: U.S. Revenue Service) underway in the Oakland Estuary passing through the Webster Street bridge, starboard bow view, circa 1910-1920. Photographer's number M-1290. Stamped on verso "Collection of A. C. Graves." 1 black-and-white photographic print, 8 x 10 in.
Item 2. Two fisherman operating the windlass aboard H.F. 249 (cutter?), circa 1905. 1 black-and-white photographic print, 5 x 7 in. The windlass was manufactured in Hamburg.
