Scope and Contents
Miscellaneous collection of travel and local history ephemera concerning California, the Western United States, and Canada.
Material was assembled by past Stanford librarians. Some are likely to have been removed from manuscript collections, while
others are small individual accessions. Contains travel brochures, maps, sightseeing & park guides, postcards, railway timetables,
promotional booklets, local history publications, and scientific reprints. There is also a small amount of typescripts, photographs,
and photocopied material. Many folders contain a single item. Includes offical programs for the opening of the San Francisco
Bay Bridge and original photographs of petroglyphs in Yellowstone National Park.
