    Biography

    Leo Edwin Kuter was an American art director and production designer active from 1921 to 1966.

    Collection Scope and Content Summary

    The Leo "K" Kuter papers span the years 1914-1979 (bulk 1921-1966) and encompass 79.2 linear feet and 2 posters. The collection consists of scripts; drawings; production material, including budgets, memos, and storyboard drawings; clippings; and photographs. The oversize material makes up more than half of the collection and consists of hundreds of drawings and storyboards drawn and collected by Kuter, primarily for Warner Bros. films. The photograph series consists of prints, negatives, and slides of motion picture production and subject photographs.
