Title VI materials. Series 1. 1976-2003.

Scope and Contents note

Includes Title VI proposals and reports submitted to the Department of Education by the Asia Institute, as well as evaluations of submitted proposals and support materials used to write proposals and reports. Typically, Title VI grants have been used to support Asian Studies at various levels, from elementary school to graduate level studies. The grant also funds the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships administered by the Asia Institute, which supports students studying abroad in East Asian countries. Files include proposals, correspondence, publicity materials, and materials regarding Asian Studies courses.
