The collection comprises information on the printing and paper industries, as compiled by Margaret Johnson between about 1983
and 2009.
Background
The materials in this collection come from the files of Margaret Johnson’s own bindery, which shut down in the early 21st
century. Over the course of her career she worked with notable binders like Stella Patri, and served on the executive committee
of the Hand Bookbinders of California.
