Scope and Content of Collection

QSL cards from the United States and other countries, received by amateur radio operator George B. McCullough. The bulk of the cards are from the United States, dating from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s, the largest number originating from California operators. McCullough operated his ham station under the call sign K6JI in Los Altos, California, and appears to have kept all of his incoming transmission confirmations from other amateur stations around the world. All of the cards have been individually cataloged and digitized, available through History San Jose's PastPerfect Online catalog.
