This collection consists of a scrapbook and 29 loose items compiled by gay rights supporter David R. King. The bulk of the
items date from 1977-1979 and deal with gay rights issues, especially with Anita Bryant's activities in Dade County, Florida
and elsewhere; California State Senator John V. Briggs and his Proposition 6 campaign; and the successful efforts mounted
by several organizations to defeat Proposition 6.
David R. King was a gay rights supporter and a resident of Pomona, California.
