Description
The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) contains articles, brochures, and programs related to the Association's activities. Articles include "Israelite and Indian: A Parallel in Planes of Culture" by Garrick Mallery 1889 August and "Symbolism in Ancient American Art" by F.W. Putnam & C.C. Willougby 1895 August. Southwest Division Annual Meeting Programs cover meetings held 1920 December 2-4 and 1922 January 26-28. There is an Annual Meeting program for the Pacific Division Annual Meeting in Pasadena in 1941 June 16-21 and an article about the Division from a 1915 March issue of Popular Science Monthly. There are also brochures from 1943 and 1949 about the history of AAAS.
