The Committee organized the first gay pride events in New York in 1970 to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969. Many photographs of the pride parade may be found in folders dated 1971-1973.

The Committee organized the city's first gay pride events in 1970 to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969. Many photographs of the pride parade are to be found in folders dated 1971-1973.
