    Acquisition Information

    Donated to the Foothill Electronics Museum by Donald B. Harris in 1971; acquired by History San Jose in 2003 as part of the Perham Collection of Early Electronics.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    The papers include General Electric files and reports; invention disclosure papers (1956); "Project 265 - Spiratron Oscillator" notes; Harris's notes on vacuum tubes/cyclotron (1957); Spiratron research notebooks (1958-1959); photographs. All relate to Harris's work on the Spiratron tube while at General Electric Co. between 1956-1959.
