Biography / Administrative History

This collection was donated by Edward George Borgens, Jr. His parents were Edward G. Borgens, Sr. (1904-1984) and Helen Z. Donofrio (1910-1996). His father was a popular organist and performer, as well as owner of a music store in San Diego. His mother was a popular contralto who also taught many students in Southern California. Scope and Content of Collection

The collection contains religious recordings (78 records), sheet music, hymnal, song books, pamphlets, Biblical encyclopedias and reference Bibles.
