Description
Joseph Quillan was a radio and television comedy writer for more than 20 years. The collection consists of radio and television scripts, ideas, notes, and memorabilia. Projects represented include programs such as the Eddie Cantor Show, Time to Smile with Eddie Cantor, and Wednesday With You. Also included is a small amount of material related to Quillan's brothers Eddie Quillan and John Quillan.
Background
Joseph Quillan was born ca. 1916. He was a comedy writer for radio and television for more than 20 years. Quillan's credits include radio programs such as The Eddie Cantor Show, Time to Smile with Eddie Cantor, Wednesday With You, and the radio and television productions of Our Miss Brooks. Quillan died Apr. 6, 1961.
