Abstract: Huang Chen-chiu participated in China's war against Japan before moving to Taiwan and serving in the Taiwan Provincial Government
(1947-1959) and Taipei City Government (1959-1964). The Huang Chen-chiu papers includes a family memorial book about Huang
and a manuscript by General Ke Yuanfen about the February 28, 1947 Incident on Taiwan.

Born in 1910 in Guangdong Province, China. Attended Department of Political Science at Central University, Nanking, and then
Central Military Academy. Participated in China's war against Japan. Moved to Taiwan in 1947 and served in the Taiwan Provincial
Government (1947-1959) and Taipei City Government (1959-1964). Moved to the United States in 1972. Died on February 27, 1998.

The collection includes a family memorial book about Huang and a manuscript by General Ke Yuanfen about the February 28, 1947
