Abstract: Zines, flyers, and printed ephemera produced across the United States and internationally from 1981 to 2019. Also included
are flyers, stickers, and cards. Topics covered by the zines created in the United States include straight edge vegans, death
metal devotees, Washington prisoners, punk rockers, and Catherinettes. Three of the zines in the collection were created as
part of the 2019 Hong Kong protests, also known as the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill (ELAB) Movement, by USC students
with ties to Hong Kong.

Three staplebound zines combining text from social media and news sources with photographs of the 2019 Hong Kong protests,
also known as the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill (ELAB) Movement. The third zine includes a handwritten note explaining
the series, stating that a fourth issue was originally planned but events had overwhelmed the people working on the project.
The creators are USC students with ties to Hong Kong. Listed below are the titles and creation dates of the three zines.
