This folder contains a list of the heirs of Mussilino (?) Escobar. It lists 9 heirs, including his wife, Thomasa Garcia, and the spouse of each of his heirs. It also mentions two leagues of land in "the Rancho known as San Jose", with 555 acres to each heir.
On the back of the list is a note written by Henry Austin, 60, from Sonoma, attesting that he knew John Ransford first in Yerba Buena in "the spring" of 1839. It is unknown how the note relates to the list of heirs.
