    Biographical Information

    Arthur O'Donnell began documenting changing urban landscapes as a community radio reporter in New Jersey, Oregon, and Washington in the 1970s. He is an energy and business journalist and the author of several books. O'Donnell works at the California Public Utilities Commission as a supervisor of the Risk Assessment and Safety Advisory section.

    Scope and Contents

    Comprised of self-published books and digital images featuring familiar San Francisco buildings that have either disappeared or are soon to fall, as well as some survivors. Subjects include the San Francisco-Oakland Transbay Terminal, Candlestick Park, the Market/Van Ness intersection, Dogpatch, and the Market Street Masonry District.
