bound volumes belonging to Alexander Muller in his career as a merchant seaman. The collection has been processed to the collection
level and is available for use without restrictions.
The record book is a log of the activities of Alexander Muller including dates and ports visited and possibly cargo information.
This volume is in German. The measurement table book is a set of tables for solid contents of packages and casks and for wine
and beer measurements in casks. The volume is stamped "Alex Muller 1556 Taylor St. San Francisco, Calif." and contains hand
notations and inserted tables of destinations and cargoes for Pier 42 and Pier 44. This volume is in English.
