Description
The collection contains correspondence, financial statements, estimates, notes and photographs of the ships produced in the
Wilmington and San Pedro (California) vicinity by the shipbuilder William A. Muller.
Background
William Muller was a prominent shipbuilder in the Wilmington and San Pedro area. He worked closely with Captain William Banning,
his enterprises and his associates, producing ships for the Catalina Island Line and Wilmington Transportation Company as
well as carrying out commissions for other parties.
