Scope and Content Notes

The collection contains scattered issues of printed almanacs, many from eastern parts of the United States, including some duplicates and variant issues.
A number of other almanacs in UCSB Special Collections have been cataloged separately and can be searched on Pegasus, the UCSB Libraries online catalog.
The Donald C. Davidson Papers (Mss 19) also contains research files and other materials pertaining to concepts of time throughout history and among various cultures, as collected by a former University Librarian at UCSB.
