Description: Justin Farmer leads a program on cradle boards at the May 20, 2000 CIA meeting at Riverside Municipal Museum. He narrates a slide presentation of over 100 cradle boards created by California Indian tribes, discussing the characteristics that distinguished tribes from near the Mexican border all the way north to the Oregon border. Although they aren't as ornate as those created by the Plains or Plateau people, he argues, they are still works of art.
