Biographical/Historical Sketch
John McHenry Nisbet earned his A.B. in geology at Stanford University in 1916; as a student he was active in the Geology and
Mining Society and a member of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity.
These images, scanned from Nisbet's original album, document his student years at Stanford. Images include fellow students,
his fraternity house, campus scenes, the 1914 Stanford-UC Berkeley game, and other athletes.
