Description
The Ronald Shedlo papers span the years circa 1966-1995 and encompass approximately 26 linear feet.
The collection contains material on several of Shedlo's feature film projects, and some memorabilia
related to his work with Errol Flynn, including personal correspondence to and from the actor.
Background
Ronald Shedlo was an American film producer, who began his career in the film industry in 1956 as a
personal assistant to Errol Flynn. He later produced a number of feature films, mostly in the U.K.,
including THE WHISPERERS (1967), THE DRESSMAKER (1988), and CARRINGTON (1995). He also produced several
made-for-TV movies, and worked for a time as a Hollywood studio executive. Among the other films in which
he was involved were THE DAY OF THE LOCUST (1975) and BACK ROADS (1981).
