    Abstract: Leigh Vance is best known as a writer and film producer. He was also a founding officer of the British Writers Guild and former president of the International Writers Guild. The collection consists of fifty-seven scripts for television series such as Mission Impossible, The Phoenix, and Switch, among others. Also includeded are eleven scripts for motion pictures such as Air Force One Is Down, Crossplot, Dawn of Time, and Queen of Diamonds, among others.

    Biography/History

    Leigh Vance was a writer and film producer. He was also a founding officer of the British Writers Guild and former president of the International Writers Guild. His motion picture credits include The Black Windmill, The Frightened City, and The Shakedown, among others. He moved to Hollywood and wrote for and produced several television series including Baretta, Cannon , and Hart to Hart, among others. Leigh Vance died in Los Angeles on October 15, 1994 from a brief illness.

    Scope and Content

    The collection consists of materials related to the career of writer and producer Leigh Vance. The bulk of the collection are script files for television series representing Mission Impossible, The Phoenix, and Switch, among others. Also included are script materials for motion pictures such as Air Force One Is Down, Crossplot, Dawn of Time, and Queen of Diamonds, among others.
