Biography/Administrative History

The Republican City and County Convention of the City and County of San Francisco was held October 6, 1880. Seventeen of 101 delegates to the Convention were allocated for this 2nd precinct of the 11th Ward of the 13th Senatorial District.

Scope and Content of Collection

A handwritten list of 597 Republican male voters ("electors") and their residence addresses in the 13th Senatorial District, 11th Ward, 2nd Election Precinct of the City and County of San Francisco. Includes signatures of John F. Kessing, A. G. Hofstetter and Joseph Jacobs of the Board of Election. Henry F. W. Hoffman, clerk who drew up the list, was an accountant by trade. 14 unnumbered leaves bound in paper covers.
