SAFR-00001 is a blanket accession that was transferred from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) to the San Francisco
Maritime National Historical Park in September 1988. GGNRA had previously acquired the collection from the San Francisco Maritime
Museum when it became a unit of the National Park Service in 1977.
GOGA-00789 was transferred from the J. Porter Shaw Library to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) in February
1985.

Contains 2 black-and-white photographic copy prints and 1 copy negative of the shoreline and buildings along Black Point Cove,
now known as Aquatic Park, east of the Foot of Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California, July 14, 1919. The photographs
were copied from the San Francisco Department of Public Works photograph albums (not further identified).

1. Looking west from the State Belt Railroad trestle toward Van Ness Avenue. The Ariel Rowing Club and Dolphin Swimming and
Boating Club buildings are in view on the far right. Photog. no. 6134. 1 black-and-white photographic copy print, 8 x 10 in.
2. Looking southeast from the rowing club piers. Ghirardelli Chocolate Company factory buildings are in view. The Haslett
Warehouse is on the far left. Photog. no. 6135. 1 black-and-white photographic copy print, 8 x 10 in., and 1 black-and-white
