Scope and content:

Five photographs of the first cinema subjects made by the Lumières. Remainder of the collection consists of museum correspondence with Louis Lumière, Lumière publications and copy prints of the Cinematographe camera (1895) which was donated to the museum’s History collection. English and French. ca. 1894-1936, undated.
