This collection contains one correspondence written by an unnamed man to his brother Ebenezer Conover during the Civil War.
He writes from Harrison's Landing in Virginia. In this letter, talks about how some counties will have to resort to drafting,
and suggests that Ebenezer should join a regiment as a waggon master. He also requests that his brother "please smuggle me
a couple of quarts of Brandy" in his next package.
