Woody Allen was born Allen Stewart Konigsberg in Brooklyn, New York. He is an American director,
screenwriter, actor, comedian, author and playwright. Allen has been nominated 24 times, receiving
Academy Awards for writing and directing ANNIE HALL (1977) and for writing HANNAH AND HER SISTERS (1986)
and MIDNIGHT IN PARIS (2011). Brian Hamill was also born in Brooklyn, New York. He is an American
photographer whose work encompasses motion pictures, music, sports, travel, photojournalism, and
celebrity portraits. He has taken photographs for 23 of Woody Allen's films, all of which are represented
in this collection.
